Hellooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lovelies!
I had to add a lot of "o"s to that hello because I have been MIA for nearly two months...TWO MONTHS? HOw did that happen?
Let's just say those two months have been eventful.
And here we are in November. Probably one of my favourite months of the year because it is my Birthday month!
Yahooooo
November is off to a great start. D started the annual hunt today (well he starts before dawn tomorrow to be more precise) and I'm a bachelorette for the next few weeks off and on. I'm loving it! I love that he gets some time to do "his thing" because he works so hard all year round.
I plan on spending some quality "me" time and maybe some quality friend time too!
We are looking forward the a romantic pre-holiday season craziness weekend away in Toronto at the end of the month to see the Sound of Music.
It will be our first chance to take our new wheels for a longggggg spin.
Yep. That's right. After nearly 16 years, we traded in D's Jeep Cheroke for a 2010 Hyundi Veracruz.
We decided on a black exterior with black leather interior. D took the Jeep Liberty for his daily vehicle and I'm using "Cruz"...I lOVE LOVE LOVE driving it. As an added bonus we got a year of XM Sattelite radio free. I am addicted to the Oprah channel!
Here are a few pics I found on the Web...
One of the reasons we went with the Veracruz is that it seats seven...OR A LOT OF SCRAPBOOKING SUPPLIES!!!
In other news...
I also became a Norwex consultant in September. Norwex is a line of environmentally friendly cleaning and personal care products. My good friend Jodi got me hooked on the products this summer while I was in Winnipeg, and I decided to become a rep.
We've been using the products for a few weeks now and just loving them. It makes cleaning SO MUCH EASIER and quicker. And the best part is no yucky chemicals in our house! (ok - that's the end of my spiel only it wasn't a spiel because I really truly use and lOVE the products!)
I do plan on getting into home parties and such at some point, it's just this past month we've been busy dealing with life and it hasn't been the best time to get that part started...
I do hope/plan to get a lot of scrapbooking done in the next few weeks while D is away. I've been doing a fair bit of shopping at MY FAVOURITE SCRAPPIN' STORE The Paper Passion (seriously girls - you MUST check it out - Rosa's prices can't be beaten and she's totally sweet and easy to deal with to boot)! My cool friends Katie and Dorrie are even on the design team right now!
I want to FINISH scrapbooks I've started for my niece and nephew of pictures from our amazing summer together...
Well lovelies.
I think I'm going to wind down for the night. I have a few things left to do before I hit the sac (in my freshly laundered sheets that are being washed as we speak)...
Happy Monday to all and it's GREAT to be back!
